On Friday, January 26, 2018 John Arthur Holdsworth of Gaithersburg, MD, previously of Potomac, MD, died at Georgetown University Hospital. Born July 7, 1943 in Washington, D.C. to Ephriam and Marion Holdsworth. He grew up in Hyattsville and then moved to Silver Spring and finally Potomac where he was part of Castro-Holdsworth Associates, a local land developer. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Joan King Holdsworth his son David Carl and wife Shelley of North Potomac, MD, daughter Christine Frye of Martinsburg WV and his 4 grandchildren who he loved above all else, David Chase, James Tristen, Lauren Marie and Chandler Michele. A Memorial service to be held on Sunday February 25th 2018, at 2 pm at the Seneca Creek Community Church, 13 Firstfield Road, Gaithersburg MD,
