On Monday, December 9, 2019, Jose Roberto Mendoza, died at the age of 27 following a long illness. He was born February 26, 1992, in Dallas, Texas to Jose Prisciliano Mendoza Ruiz and Maria Elena Sanchez. Beloved husband of Cinthia Guadalupe Tavarez of Jalisco, Mexico. Father of Luis Ángel Ruvalcaba and Evelyn Ruvalcaba; brother of Veronica Avila, Maria Eugenia Mendoza and Priscilla Mendoza; uncle of Ruben Sanchez, Miranda Sanchez, Lesely Gonzalez and Fabian Gonzalez.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 16, 2019, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Calvario Funeral Home, 300 West Street, Dallas, TX 75208, where a Rosary will be offered at 6:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, December 17, 2019, at 11:00 am at St. Cecilia Catholic Parish, 1809 W. Davis St. Dallas, TX 75208. Interment to follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, 3001 S. Belt Line Road, Dallas, TX 75208.
