Obituary for Christopher Alexander "Riley" Medrano

Christopher A. Medrano “Riley” passed away unexpectedly on December 24 at age 19. Chris was raised in Silver Spring and Potomac. He graduated from Wootton High School where he was on the wrestling team during his freshman and sophomore years and from Thomas Edison High School of Technology in May. Chris was a gentle, caring soul who was always polite and respectful to his teachers and other adults in his life and silly and fun-filled with his friends. Chris is survived by his mother Ana Medrano and stepfather Jeffrey Gray, his father Santos Medrano and stepmother Lionila Escobar, his sisters Yessica Torres and Abigail Medrano, his nieces Selena and Annabelle Torres, and his grandmother Gene Jesano. Chris is also survived by numerous loving family members and friends and his much-loved dog Danny. He will be greatly missed.
