Obituary for Carlos Juvenal Canar

On Saturday, July 11, 2020 Carlos Juvenal Canar (also known as Carlos Juvenal Canar Tandazo), age 91, died peacefully at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital, Rockville, MD. Born on November 4, 1928 in Loja, Ecuador to the late Jose Canar and Rebeca Tandazo. Having earned a Master's Degree and having come to this country, he was employed for many years as an accountant in the construction industry. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Luz A. (nee Valarezo) Canar. Beloved father of Janet M. Canar of Rockville, MD. He will be missed by many relatives and friends. On Thursday August 6, 2020 from 8 pm until 10 pm A Visitation will be held at St. Andrew's Mission 12247 Georgia Avenue Silver Spring, MD 20902. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Mission, the next morning from 9:30 to 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery 13801 Georgia Avenue Silver Spring, MD 20906.

CANAR TANDAZO, who in life was accountant by trade, want to communicate to our friends and relatives the passing of our dear father Carlos that occurred in the city of Rockville, Maryland on July 11, 2020 and invite you to the candlelight ceremony August 6, 2020 from 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm and to the mass on August 7 , 2020 at 9:30 am at the Iglesia Misión San Andres located at 12247 Georgia Ave. Silver Spring, Md. 20902 after this to the Gate of Heaven Cemetery located at 13801 Georgia Ave. Silver Spring, Md. 20906 at 11:00 am.
Carlos is survived by his children Nelly, Enrique, Eduardo, Patricia and Janet Cañar, by grandchildren, by in-laws, and many other relatives. His beloved wife Luz and his daughter Fanny have already passed into eternity.
