On Monday, March 16, 2020 Charles Grant Braswell Jr. US Army, Ret. age 78, died peacefully at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center Bethesda, MD. Born on July 7, 1941 in St. Louis, MO to Charles Grant and Myrtle Marie Braswell, Sr. He earned a Master's Degree. He retired from the United States Army as a Sergeant First Class, having served his country honorably, and having been awarded both a Silver Star and a Purple Heart. Beloved husband of Cheryl (nee Givens) Stone-Braswell of Silver Spring, MD. Burial with Military Honors at Arlington National Cemetery will take place at a future date.
