On March 30, 2019, Dara Marie Gibson, 4, passed away due to brain cancer, DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma), with her loving family by her side. Born at Shady Grove Hospital in Rockville, MD on November 26, 2014 to Daniel and Lauren Gibson of Gaithersburg, MD. Along with her parents, she is survived by her older brother, Samuel Gibson. She is also missed by grandparents, Andrew & Nancy Gibson of Pittsfield, Maine, Barbara & Kevin McNamara of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, great grandfather John Gibson of Maine, great grandmother Margaret Lahart of Maine, great grandmother Marie McNamara of Florida, Uncle Brian McNamara and wife Madeleine and family of Louisiana, Uncle Steven McNamara of Florida, Uncle Craig Gibson and wife Ann Marie and family of New Jersey, Aunt Kelly Brooks and husband Layton of England, and many cousins and extended family. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday April 5, 2019 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 11900 Darnestown Rd, Gaithersburg, MD 20878, where a funeral service will be held on Saturday April 6, 2019 at 11 am.
