Hon Thi Trang, age 90, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at her residence in Gaithersburg, MD. Born in Vietnam December 31, 1930, she immigrated to the United States in December 1989. Hon was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Tuan Trang; two daughters and one sister. She is survived by nine children, Cam To Trang (Quang Tang) of Germantown, Son Trang (Teresa Tseng) of Darnestown, Cam D. Trang (Albert Luc) of Gaithersburg, Hai Trang (Mei Wu) of Silver Spring, Cam B. Trang (Son Nguyen) of Bethesda, Karen Trang (Felix Ha) of Rockville, Benny Trang (Vivian Hua) of Gaithersburg, Sennie Trang of Gaithersburg, and Kevin Trang of Gaithersburg; fourteen grandchildren, Janet Wu (Samuel Choi), Alan Trang, Julia Wu (Chenyu Fan), Raymond Trang, Alex Trang, Ken Trang, Sean Nguyen, John Nguyen, William Trang, Calvin Ha, Christy Trang, Cassie Trang, Carrie Ha, Kimberly Trang; and three great grandchildren, Lincoln Fan, Evelyn Fan, and Charlotte Choi. She was an active member of the Chinese Culture and Community Service Center and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, March 11 from 3pm to 9pm at The Church of the Ascension at 205 S. Summit Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20877, where funeral services will take place at 9:30am on Thursday, March 12, 2020. Interment will be at Parklawn Memorial Gardens at 12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD 20853 following the funeral services.
