On Wednesday, June 10, 2020 Lester A. Mackovick, age 80 of Rockville, MD died peacefully after an illness of several years at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. Born on November 2, 1939 in Chicago, IL to to the late Anton Mackovick and Angeline Bienek. Having graduated from high school he devoted his life to honorable service to his nation as a member of the United States Navy. He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Markovick. Beloved uncle of Lynn T. Mackovick of Philadelphia, MD. He will be remembered fondly by the family and friends whose lives he touched. Funeral arrangements pending.
