On Friday November 23, 2018 our dear Mother, Marilyn Burstein died peacefully in her sleep. She was residing at Arden Courts in Silver Spring, MD. Born October 27, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Samuel and Lillian Lokietz . Beloved wife of the late Martin Burstein. Mother of Anne Solek of Secaucus, NJ, Dorea Schecter of Gaithersburg, MD, and Sheila Burstein of Germantown, MD. Loving Grandmother of Rachel Theoharis, Bobbie Schecter, Ashley Pires, Stephanie Schecter, and Joseph Solek. Great Grandmother of Andrew Theoharis, Luca Theoharis, and Taylor Pires. She was preceded in death by her sisters Theodore Lokietz and Elaine Berman.
