Adjaottor, Ms. Dinah Pecku, Prof. J.A.A. Mingle, Mr. Val Tetteh Kwabla, Dr. Seth Otuteye, Madam Florence Glover-Akpey and Mr.Ofoe Amegatcher, announce the death of their beloved daughter.
On Wednesday, June 17, 2020 Patience Pecku, age 76, died peacefully and quietly at Medstar Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC. Born January 12, 1944 to Tetteh Pecku in Ada, Ghana. Beloved mother of Freddy Deegbe (Magdaline Deegbe) of Maryland, USA, Patrick Deegbe (Christie Deegbe) of Lausanne, Switzerland, Frank Deegbe (Faakornam Deegbe) of Maryland, USA, Patricia Deegbe of Accra, Ghana and Daniel Deegbe (Veronica Deegbe) of Accra, Ghana. Devoted grandmother of thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Sister of Victor Pecku, Ernest Pecku, Millicent Pecku (USA) and Thomas Pecku (Ghana) he is also missed by John Deegbe (USA) and the entire Deegbe family, Esther Oduro (USA) and the entire family.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 5 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Thibadeau Mortuary Service, p.a., 124 East Diamond Avenue Gaithersburg, MD 20877. Memorial contributions can be made in her honor to Freddy Deegbe or Frank Deegbe.
