On Saturday, May 16, 2020 Robert Earl Cunningham age 70 of Gaithersburg, MD died peacefully at Adventist Healthcare Shady Grove Medical Center Rockville, MD. Born on September 26, 1949 in Weatherly, PA to Robert Stephen and Maude Irene Cunningham. He served his nation honorably in the US Navy from 1972 until 1976. Having earned a Master's Degree, he was later employed as a biologist in the US Government Laboratory of the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. Beloved husband of Diane (nee Timko) Cunningham of Gaithersburg, MD. Devoted father of Dr. Brady R. Cunningham and his wife Rachel, and grandfather of Eloise Cunningham. He will be missed by his many relatives and friends.
