Just now hear this news 6 1/2 months after she died. I knew she had been battling for her life, but did not know it had ended. Our family so loved this woman. She taught our youngest son, as well as me- a homeschooling mom- so much about how to compensate for hearing deficits and how to love. We will miss her greatly!

Valerie was a valued member of our Short Story class. She held in high esteem well written literature. Our class is not the same without her. Condolences to her friends and family.

Valerie was a very kind and considerate person with many talents. She will be missed profoundly by all of her church family, and especially by her “Choir Family”.

Valerie was an amazing soul – kind, loving, giving, and always thought of others first. She was a great friend and daughter. She helped many people during her lifetime. I used to say to Valerie, "Blessed are the pure in heart, for they see God." Valerie was devoted and never waivered. May she be in peace with God.
